I wish I could say I would recommend this place. But sadly I can not. I called from Florida advised I would be doing a cross country move and asked if they were near east Peoria. They assured me they were. But it doesn’t seem to be close to my new house at all. Upon arriving at almost midnight, when we open the storage it is dirty. Broken glass, feathers. Large staples and dirty Qtips in the unit. It’s roughly 15 minutes after midnight so I don’t have a broom handy and I’m pissed I have to move my furniture and stuff into this dirty unit. Also I bought my own lock with me because the lady I booked with told me that my unit would take two different kinds of locks and my cylinder lock would work. It did not. Luckily there was a lock left in the unit. Who knows if this will end up being something else I have to pay for. Because no one has bothered to call me back. I’ve now left two messages requesting a call back. And also sent a message to the facility. When I booked the unit I asked, if I arrive and have any problems will I be able to easily contact someone, she assured me I would. Well I have not been able to reach anyone except customer service people who apparently can’t do anything but send an email. I had planned to use this unit for a couple months while the house is being remodeled but I will make sure to find a clean unit somewhere before the first bill is due even if I have to pay even more money to get my stuff relocated somewhere clean, where I can reach a manager if needed.

Zach and Chris are absolute heroes i tell you what, I needed storage asap so I filled out an application online it was audio and easy and when I got to the facility I was so confused I couldn’t find my unit so Chris walked me though how to find it and when it still was clicking in my head how to find it Zach came to the rescue and met me and led me to my unit and was such a sweetie even tho he had to help me one minute before he was done for the day! Both of them were so sweet and nice and genuinely so helpful!! 10/10 for Zach and Chris

Exterior and Interior Painting Specialists

Stopped by my storage unit late yesterday and ran into Don working. Gotta say, the guy deserves major props! This place is spotless - no trash anywhere and not a single weed poking through the pavement. It's the little things that show Extra Space Storage actually gives a damn about their facility. There is a security factor to him being here also which is solid too. Nice to see a storage place that doesn't cut corners. Don's hard work definitely doesn't go unnoticed! Jesse Vance

I like know my units are safe with security cameras and pass code gates. There customer service department are always friendly and polite. They go above and beyond. I've been with them for 3 yrs now and not had any issue that couldn't be resolved.
