I know prices have gone up, but the rental for our unit has doubled in 2 years. We have an inside unit that used to be protected by a locked door to get into the building. That lock is now taped over and no longer secure. I did call when I noticed it being broken so I guess the tape was the solution. Value isn't there anymore.

Just rented storage unit. So far everything has been great. Researched pricing in area. Red Dot was cheapest and had special for second month. Renting on line was very easy. Had been trying with another company. Their site was hard to use. My unit was surprisingly tall inside. Lots more room. Only problem I've had. Was finding a clip on door. Could not figure out how to remove. Finally got it removed.

Recently needed to rent some storage units. They had a 10x10 unit that was climate controlled for the same price as a standard unit. However, when I went to get into the lock building for the climate controlled unit it was locked separately and I was never able to get in. After contacting support and nearly an hour later, I asked to be transferred to a standard unit. A few weeks later I need to get a second unit so I rent it online and upon arrival the front gate keypad isn't functioning. We were told it would be the next day before access could be restored. I rented from them before and never had these types of issues. Maybe these are just too bad instances but they were back to back for me. This is just another issue of non-maned storage facilities and things you can expect to happen.

Red Dot Storage seemed so convenient. We had two storage units. One had items stolen from it and even though we bought the insurance, they refused to pay us. We filed a police report. We asked RDS to pull up the camera footage that was 10 feet away from our unit. They refused and said that we would need a police warrant. We received the warrant a month later and when the police asked for the camera footage, RDS said that the camera was broken. The customer service was out of the country, so just beware that if you have any problems, you are on your own. Very disappointing! I lost my trombone I had since grade school , 2000 watt generator and $500 worth of hunting gear. We are not sure what else is missing until we go through all of our boxes. The insurance claim said we didn't have the serial numbers for the stolen items? Really, who has time when moving to write down serial numbers. I suggest you install hunting cams if you do decide to use Red Dot Storage.

Great facility! Low prices! What else can I say? If I could think of something else, it would not be anything negative. This is a reputable company who provides fantastic properties to store your personal belongings at very reasonable prices. The gates at this property are secured with your own entry code, so we always feel safe while there. Open 365 days, 24 hrs per day. They also have a very useful app, that allows you to pay you bill, retrieve access codes for the gate, and much, much more! Give them a call! Update March 2, 2022 I wouldn't change a word of the review above! Still a great place to store your extra stuff!
