I rented a unit here for nearly four years and moved out in September 2025. I started renting when the facility was fairly new, but unfortunately it declined very quickly. The management issues were constant. There was rarely anyone in the office, and the elevator closest to my unit was broken for weeks; including on my move out day, with no signage posted to notify customers. When I first moved in, there were plenty of carts available; by the time I moved out, it was difficult to find even one. At move out, the entrance gate was also broken (had been broken for several weeks), forcing everyone to enter and exit through the exit gate. Despite vacating my unit, I continued to be billed more than 10 days after moving out. I had to contact corporate directly just to reach a regional manager and get my account closed, as no one onsite was managing the property. There were also serious cleanliness and safety concerns. I’ve seen dead mice in the stairwell, and on one evening visit, I saw someone sleeping inside the facility. Rent increased consistently over the years, yet the condition and management of the property continued to decline, making the higher rates completely unjustified. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this location.
The people that are leaving high reviews probably don’t go by often enough to see that condition of the bathrooms or gave to fight to find a storage cart which seems more difficult than winning Powerball. I come from a sales, marketing, management and customer service background of more than 40 years and this place is run poorly. People hoarding carts in their units is not enforced. Every time I ask for a cart Im made to feel like Im asking for handout on a street corner and try to get boxes on to a tiny cart kept in the office which isn’t made for heavy items. Though I haven’t seen any others have told me they’ve seen rodents and the floors aren't swept often enough. Not to mention one of the doors or security gates seems to be malfunctional every few weeks. Ive also been charged $100 late fee when I was out of town for a holiday weekend and the office was closed and then another occasion when I was sick and could not pay online or on the app because after logging in I got a message that I currently didn’t have a unit which is obviously not the case and couldn’t pay on the phone since according to their system I didn’t have a unit and couldn’t get a live person on the phone. So basically Im paying alot for no customer service, no ability to pay online or on the app and the office is closed Sunday and Wednesday and I have trouble finding a cart and to use a bathroom which I try to avoid that is sometimes worse than public restrooms. There are better options in my opinion and I would not refer anyone to this place. In my opinion I should be refunded $200 in late feed based on what I just described. Rent at your own risk. I gave 1 star for location. Just to update my most recent review this is my most recent visit and the problem is not fixed regarding the broken door and here is a picture. I can only imagine how many rodents or pests or other creatures have infiltrated the facility. Someone said they heard someone had found a snake in their unit, although it was not venomous but still it is not something you want to open the door to your storage unit and see. Update as of July 20 The front gate has been broken now for over a month which means the exit gate is kept open during business hours but after the office closes one needs to have someone go in amd open the gate to drive through. Problem comes if you’re alone. Not easy to do. On top of this, the place has been filthy and I recently moved into a new unit and it was not clean. There were spiders and other insects I didn’t see in the unit that I moved from which means it was not cleaned. This is consistent with the la Throughout the facility, it has become very filthy. I believe it’s a reflection of the manager Mrs. Yvonne Who seems to have an attitude anytime you try to report a problem and has never been very helpful from my experience. I believe they have a new manager now, so hopefully things will change and go back to the way they were before she became manager. I’ve added photos of how the bathroom typically looks as well as the condition of my new storage unit. 1/27/26 It was very frustrating trying to get to my unit this week after the storm the whole street and every place around the storage facility had been plowed, but this is what I found this week and even today being Thursday this is still how it looked when I arrived late this morning. I was actually surprised someone was at storage, but I had to walk through the pile of snow and maneuver carefully on the sheet of ice with a broken back only to be told that the plows may get there today or tomorrow which didn’t do me any good because I basically have not been able to access my unit since Sunday, which cost me a lot of business
The most disgusting self-storage unit in this area. Never have any workers there. No employees helping you out. Bathrooms are always disgusting 🤮. They don’t have enough carts for use. The elevator is broken and takes a long time to fix. The case always opens for everyone to come inside. The price always rises up like crazy.
DO NOT RENT HERE. Just don’t do it. There have been issues from the very beginning. The entrance gate was broken for the longest time so anyone could go in. Same for the exit gate which has been broken for even longer which makes security completely moot. The doors don’t always work or they are completely damaged. The security code pads also don’t always work. Two of the three elevators were broken for months. And now there is a rat infestation. Not to mention, when I signed up I was quoted a price and was told that would remain the price of my unit for as long as I had it. This isn’t true. My unit went from $70 a month to $122 in 3 months, and now they raised it again to $138. For all the issues with this location, it isn’t worth a penny. I will be filing a claim and taking my business elsewhere.
I had gone to 3 other storage places to get quotes and info I wasn’t happy with anyone until I went to Self Storage and was greeted by Yvonne she was amazing!! She met us at the door with a smile, gave us a tour and answered every question before we even asked. I had no intentions of getting a unit that day but I walked out with a unit and a lock she recommended. Would definitely recommend this place. It was clean and it was quiet just overall a really good experience.
