*UPDATE TO MY ORIGINAL REVIEW* I thought this place was helpful after the situation I was going through, but.... I WAS WRONG!!! 😒..... I was there almost everyday for a couple weeks going through my belongings that were broke, scattered and tossed into a unit!!! I sorted and took several boxes at a time.... WELL... I was there on a Thursday evening TRYING TO GET the REMAINING STUFF in MY UNIT.... the woman from the office who's NAME is *ASIA* came over to me and told me people were COMPLAINING that I was hanging out there and that I HAD TO LEAVE!!!..... THERE WAS NO ONE ELSE EVEN THERE!!!!..SHE JUST WANTED ME OUT. SHE ACTS LIKE SHE IS SOME TYPE OF AUTHORITY..... The next day I get a call saying my unit was 9 days past due and they my locked me out. I had to pay the $120 for 9 days late to access my stuff....I'm a single mother trying to get my belongings and took what I could out after paying $120.... ASIA calls me 2 days later to tell me she's putting THE LOCK BACK ON MY UNIT.. I seen this girl on a DAILY BASIS and not 1 TIME MENTIONED MY UNIT BEING OVER DUE and NO CONSIDERATION FROM THIS GIRL, SHE'S SO UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE.... DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH ASIA, SHE WANTS TO BE SOME KIND OF AUTHORITY OVER PEOPLE AND HER ATTITUDE SUCKS...IF doing business here ask for JUNIOR, HE'S THE ONLY DECENT PERSON WORKING THERE!!! Rented a storage unit and the gentleman in the office named Junior was such a pleasure to deal with and always very helpful with any questions or concerns.

The Extra Space Storage Unit in Lynn (on the Lynnway) is a horribly running business. After just a few months, my rent was increased by $100 extra a month. I was not notified of the increase. I fell behind on payments by two months. They tacked on a bunch of fees. They didn't offer any type of payment plan. They told me if I didn't pay the entire amount, my stuff would be auctioned off. I have financial issues, so I was unable to pay. I had a studio size storage unit and everything was auctioned out. I lost everything. I am upset about what happened. I want to warn the public about the place, so this doesn't happen to anyone else.
