Steve at extra space storage is an incredible employee. I've had storage units all across the country and I've never had the quality of service that I've gotten from Steve. The units and facility are always pristine, clean, and well monitored. I've had a unit here for more than five years and never had a single issue. Highly recommend.

When Extra Space took over the storage facility, i was a bit worried about how they would be, but I'm very happy with the service and communication that I've received, except for only a month's notice for the rate increases, which I do have a huge problem with how corporate is raising rates every year. I am on a fixed income and can only work part time, it's going to be over $250+ for a 10x19 outdoor unit. I could see if i was paying for electricity to keep my stuff climate controlled, but my unit is outside. I've been there over 5 years, never pay late, don't cause any trouble, and even though the store manager has been great, corporate controls the pricing. Great for short term storage, not so much long term.

This storage space is excellent and the staff and manager Stephen is even better . They helped me out so much . Renews my faith in good people cuz this is what this business is about !!!!!!!!

I’ve had my belongings stored at this facility for 2 years as I’m saving to buy a house. I would never recommend using this place because they will pull one over your head after you have been there a few months by raising your rent $70 at a time. This can add up and it makes it so hard for me to save when I could be using this money to toward a home. Apparently they do this because they want you to move out so other people can enjoy the use of the facility. Had I known they were going to do this I would have never ever used this place to store my goods. I have a huge unit packed full and it was no easy task just like it would be a pain in my rear end to load everything up by myself to move it to another facility while I’m still trying to save to move into my own place. I started out with one unit at $120 that ended up over $230 so I had a fit because it’s not fair putting me in this predicament to have to keep paying higher rates or move out. Many people lose their goods and personal belongings when they can’t afford the rent that keeps going higher and higher.. There should be a statue of limitation that stops them from going so high with charges. On a positive note at the south Pennsylvania location, the woman (Melissa) was great to work with. I couldn’t have asked for a better person to watch over my goods. Melissa took good care of this store and was a friendly person who helped me several times, once when I locked myself out and came to my rescue after hours. I adored Melissa’s personality and never had any problems with her. I wish they had not transferred her to another store.😩 As you can see in my photos, my unit is full so to have to move all of this again would be a nightmare and super stressful. I am in a budget and do not want to lose my belongings. There should be a limit based on income otherwise many people could get screwed with the way they raise the rent every free months. I’ve read reviews and other complaints about this same issue
