I haven't yet moved my stuff into a storage unit at KO Storage Red Wing, but I worked through the process over the phone with MAIBEL, and she was great! Very friendly, polite, patient, professional, and knowledgeable. She walked me through the online forms quickly--it was super easy and fast. She emailed me copies of all the forms after I signed them, and she answered all of my questions easily. I'm comfortable that everything will work out fine with the actual unit and move-in . . . and I will update this Google review with more information after move-in. I'm happy with KO Storage Red Wing so far though--it seems like a very well-run and professional company with great customer service reps. Thanks again, MAIBEL!

Updating my rating from 5 stars to 3 stars because there are a couple of recurring issues that have become frustrating enough that I feel they should be mentioned. Overall, the facility is secure and serves its purpose well, but I don't understand some of the access restrictions. Since customers already need a gate code to enter and are monitored by cameras, the 9:00 PM access cutoff feels unnecessarily restrictive and has caused issues for me on multiple occasions. My bigger concern is the restroom. There is an office area with a restroom that appears to be consistently locked, even during normal business hours. I've needed to use it several times while organizing items in my unit and found it unavailable every time. As a paying customer who already has authorized access to the property, it seems reasonable to have restroom access available. Instead, I've had to stop what I'm doing, secure my unit, drive to a nearby gas station, and then return, which turns a quick restroom break into a 20-minute interruption. I'm sharing this as constructive feedback rather than a complaint. If management were to address these issues, especially restroom access for customers, I would gladly reconsider and update my rating.

Renting a storage unit at KO was SO easy! I did it all online, chose the size unit we need, paid the reasonable insurance for the unit, got a rental discount for two months, signed the lease electronically and was able to pay the rent on line and chose automatic payments for each month. If only the rest of our move could go this smoothly! UPDATE: we needed a bit larger unit than I originally thought, so I called to upgrade and again, it was so easy! The young gentleman who helped me was very pleasant, had a sense of humor and all was completed in a timely fashion. Thank you, David!
