For many years I’ve been renting one of their biggest storage units and didn’t have any issues because I always had autopay. But they recently changed management and last month I got charged a $42 late fee again because I updated my card information, I called and I was told I had to re-authorize them to continue with autopay. I got upset because, as a courtesy, they could had let me know this, or at least, that I was about to be in default before I got charged. Looking into my bank account statements, I notice is not the first time they charge me this late fee. It makes you think they don’t contact you during the grace period so you default and then they can charge the late fee. I sent a email asking for a courtesy refund of the last late fee just this one time since I wasn’t aware of the re-authorisation rule and I’ve been a loyal tenant for years, a customer service rep replied saying she would contact me in a week with an answer for a yes or a no, but it’s been almost a month and no one has replied anything about the refund anymore. Needles to say, I’m moving out, they lost a loyal customer.
Great customer service and very clean property if you are looking For a good deal and great service I highly recommend this place.
