Extra Space Storage is a greedy publicly traded REIT company. 80% rent increase! They purchased the Stowaway Self Storage property on Rt 202 in Flemington a few months ago, mid 2025, and changed to Extra Space Storage. Stowaway Self Storage was a company that I had been with for 10 years, in the same storage unit. THEN Extra Space Storage raised my rent %80 at the 2026 new year. In my opinion they try to take advantage of people who have limited options. Fortunately I have a few options. I moved out. I will never do business with this company again. They lost this customer for life.
