You don’t always get employees that go the extra mile for you these days, especially in New York. No one wants to give you a break sometimes. I’ve been a customer of Extra Space on 51st in Hells Kitchen for a couple years and every single employee has been awesome, always ready lend a helping hand. HOWEVER, there is one employee that is absolutely the brightest star…. VALERIE… she has an infectious laugh and wonderful disposition. I was moving out and didn’t realize my payment for the next month was quickly approaching and I was stressing, I called and spoke to Valerie and she calmed my nerves. She is knowledgeable, and understanding. Two things you don’t always get from businesses these days. She helped me through the process saving me time and money. Exceptional staff means there is exceptional leadership…kudos Extra Space Storage- if you need a place for your belongings…this is the space…

Eric at Extra Space Storage over in W51st street was outstanding! He was incredibly helpful from start to finish. He took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all of my questions, and even walked with me to look at the different storage units so I could choose the one that best fit my needs. He was patient, professional, and made the whole process easy and stress-free. I really appreciated his excellent customer service and would highly recommend working with Eric if you’re looking for storage!

I have to S/O Eric and Damian for the amazing customer service. I needed to make some changes with my unit and both were more than patient and accommodating. They were very helpful and took the time to explain everything. Eric and Damian were personable, knowledgeable and professional. What could have been a stressful event for me turned out to be one of the best experiences! Thank you both.

I had a great experience with Extra Space Storage, thanks to Joe. He was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and patient throughout the entire process. Joe took the time to understand my storage needs and helped me find the best unit for my situation without any pressure. He clearly explained all the options, answered all my questions, and made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. Excellent customer service like this is hard to find. I highly recommend Extra Space Storage and especially Joe if you’re looking for someone who genuinely cares about helping customers find the right solution.

A very busy place, with many bringing the stress of their move to the front desk here. In an industry driven by price point - Jeanette at Extra Storage on West 51st makes the difference that can’t be price - she gets 6 stars. She is welcoming, knowledgeable, efficient and goes the additional step to help a client. While I waited for my phone to charge I was impressed with her patience as she explained the price of a unit 3 or 4 times to when it seemed rather simple to understand it the first time Shout out to Eric checking in with people as they waited and for providing that same friendly welcome. Mangers at Extra Storage ! make certain to acknowledge these resources who are able to turn a tough move day into a great day for many of us !
