Savannah was so nice! Worked with us and explained the various sizes and how much space we needed and found us the best deal! The office, unit and building were exceptionally clean, and air conditioned! (It was blazing hot the day we moved) and they had easily accessible, clean restrooms! (We had a storage unit without bathrooms on site in the past 👎🏽). Thank you for all your help!

I had a unit with Extra Space Storage for over 18 months. The 6 months were great and the price for the unit wasn’t too bad. After the 6 months I went from paying 70 to paying about 150-160. (It doubled) -at one point I was called & told that “someone” went into my unit. So they gave me a discount for that month. How did someone go in my unit and I bought my own lock? I have no idea. The reason I chose to leave a review is because after moving all my stuff out this previous weekend, I was told by Savannah that I was not allowed to use their dumpsters to throw out any trash from my unit, Which was fine. I called a friend and went back to remove said trash off of the property as she stated. (Not asked but stated- her tone was condescending. As well) But She was very rude about it, cutting me off and talking over me in a rude tone. Although me being there for over 18 months — I had seen others use that same dumpster when moving out. (It was clear to me it wasn’t fine I utilized the dumpster because of the color of my skin. Everyone else used it with NO PROBLEM.) I didn’t fuss. All I could think to myself, was with me being a loyal customer for so long how could I be treated so poorly. She could have been respectful and asked nicely. But she chose to be rude. So No, I wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone. I’d rate my overall experience a 3/10. -My unit was entered without my knowledge or consent. -The price of the unit I had doubled within 6 months and I was told it was do to inflation in the economy. -I had to deal with rude employees. The only one who was never rude and always helpful was a young man I never got his name but we met a few times. -I also want to add how dirty the bathrooms always were. Never being stocked with toilet paper or soap. Spiderwebs and other bugs all in the bathroom. Floor was always dirty. Never any paper towels and bathe garbage was always full. — I am also taking the time out of my day today to contact corporate and tell them my experience with this location and with one of their employees - specifically Savannah, on my day of move out. If you end up getting a unit with them please keep in mind my review. Stay on top of things and always ask questions and document EVERYTHING. With her working there and her attitude in how she handles customers could be a lawsuit. She may seem super nice in the beginning but it’s all a facade. So if you are a person or color please be aware of this location. & Document Document Document!

Stay away from these con artists! At least once a month the door to the building doesn't work so good luck getting in, the heat keeps the entire building just above freezing it's not actual heating meanwhile the cost of rent goes up every month on top of the whole place smelling of rotten eggs. In 6 months they've more than doubled our rent. There's another storage unit in Fairport that doesn't price gouge like these greedy scammers. Avoid this dump at all costs. I've seen how poorly they're taking care of it (even though everything there is automated) they still refuse to put anything but the bare minimum into it even though you'll have to keep paying more for the same poor quality service. This isn't a business it's a joke that's scamming people out of more and more money just to make a bigger profit. Avoid this place at all costs. Anything longer than a month and they'll start screwing you over until you leave.
