RATS. I’ve been renting storage units for 10 years and have never had an issue like this. I don’t store food or anything that would attract pests, yet my unit and belongings were completely covered in rat droppings. When I brought this to staff and asked to move, they said I could switch to another unit of the same size — but only if I paid an extra $200 per month. They also confirmed they don’t use any rat deterrents in the units. I normally don’t leave reviews, but if this saves someone else from dealing with what I went through, it’s worth posting.
David PakulaOverall a nice experience. I had a small storage unit with interior access. I never had any issue getting through the security gate. The interior of the building was always cool-to-cold, dry and well lit. The property is clean and well maintained. The only downside side was finding rodent droppings among my belongings. Would use again and pack/wrap items well.
Kai KaiAaron in the office is super great! Very smooth seamless move-in and move out very secured. Easy gate entry system. My only complaint Would be that if you stay less than one month, you cannot get a refund for the extra days. But I have a feeling that’s pretty formal amongst storage units. Had a great experience and definitely recommend!
Alex WI had a great rental experience with Extra Space Storage in Beaverton. The staff were very helpful and friendly during the rental registration and finding a outside storage space. I like the easy access in and out of the gate with a app through my phone. The facility is easy to access and clean. Security was good witch was important as I stored my new enclosed utility trailer here. I finally was able to bring my trailer home and the manager Aaron not only called me personally to confirm my move out, he was able to do it without me having to go out of my way and stop back in to complete anything. I recommend them and this location to anybody looking for convince and security.
Laura RStraight from the Horses mouth - this is Real Estate. They do not care about serving their customers!! Manager has no interest in retaining tenants and terrible customer service. You'll be paying 25% more than the listed rates after 1 year, which could be nearly 2X their introductory rate. Lifetime resident of Beaverton. Working closely with public Ill make sure to NEVER reccomend Extra Space storage to anyone!!
