Other family and I have been using Delta Waters Mini Storage for over 5-7+ years now. Have always had great experiences. Aside from my dad having one for so many years for our family, I’ve rented myself twice now for my moves in different sizes and the lady who runs the place (I forget her name) has been great to me. Got my deposit back easily as I picked up after myself.. Giving till the 10th when rent is due the 1st, has helped me significantly with such a large timeline to pay all my bills. Also not to mention this is the most affordable storage I’ve found, which I’m grateful for. Thank you for running a great buisness.
Could have been 5 Stars but... Upon closing my unit, the manager had the audacity to complain that I swept out the dust and maybe a paperclip onto their pavement. I left the unit clean with the only thing left inside being the rat poison she put in the unit. Paying $140 a month for 3 years, sometimes $160 if I was struggling financially, to be guilt tripped over sweeping out the unit was EXTREMELY off-putting. Several months before actually closing the unit, I asked the manager if there was a service that she could recommend to help me move out the heavy items from my unit, as I did not have the means to do it all by myself. She said she would give my contact info to some random guy but to not count on it. I'm sure that actually meant "figure it out yourself." Thanks for nothing I guess? I then asked if I could just arrange for a dumpster since I really wanted to be rid of the bill. She said no, and that it was "definitely not allowed." Okay? Why not? Especially if I was willing to pay for the service? Very strange. Overall, the manager's demeanor and customer service left a very bitter taste in my mouth. The manager doesn't want to be courteous, helpful, or work very hard. They have obviously been burned before, as most facilities I'm sure, but to place the frustration of being burned again onto tenants who are just trying to do the right thing means I will never be a return customer, and cannot recommend this facility.
The folks at the mini storage do a fantastic job. The place is very clean and I have never had a problem with the roof leaking or anything. I rent a 10x20 unit and pay $111.00 a month which I feel is reasonable compared to other storage places I've shopped for. Plus it is just down the street from me which is very convenient. You must have a gate code so it is very secure.
Would have rated 5 stars but not now! I've had multiple work and personal units for over 10 years. I usually pay 3-6 months in advance. I've seen 10 rate increases from $75 to $108. Got a notice in July of upcoming increase but never received a bill with new amount. Got a late notice today with fees. New mgr said to bad, so sad! After 10+ yrs I find that very disappointing and rude. Just NO loyalty to long-term customers! Kinda like the cable company! ☹ It doesn't help knowing the owners either!
Clean and courteous. Noted: they've reduced office hours over the years, but hasn't affected my ability to call and get help when they're open
