I have a unit at Halsey and 72nd in Portland. This is not my first experience with Public Storage and to be honest, I have been down a rocky road, a flooded unit in St. John, seriously poor customer service and overpriced units with door issues. However, I am writing this review about an employee who went out of his way to help me in a rough situation. His name is Rob and he was amazing. He asked if I was okay with everything. The door was so jenky and hard to open that I couldn’t do it alone. I was bringing someone with me every time I needed to access the unit. He spent a considerable amount of time fixing what he could, it required several steps and tools, spray and a ladder. He made a huge difference and was so kind and helpful. A big shout out to Rob!

This is hands down one of the worst business experiences I’ve ever had. No one ever answers the phone — I called over 21 times during their posted business hours and got absolutely nothing. When I went in person, no one was working, even though the hours were clearly posted on the door. Completely false advertising. After HOURS, someone finally called me back and left a voicemail — without my phone ever ringing. How does that even happen? By that point, the damage was already done and it cost me hundreds of dollars because of their negligence and lack of communication. To make it worse, when I asked for a refund due to their failures, they didn’t want to refund all of my money. No accountability. No urgency. No professionalism. This place is disorganized, misleading, and poorly managed. If you value your time, money, or sanity, do not rent here. Absolutely disgusting business practices. I would not recommend this location under any circumstances.

The customer service was impeccable. I will always go there. These ladies were so sweet and so nice that the gentlemen were wonderful as well. It’s a must.

Nathan was so sweet and helpful. He went the extra mile and made sure I got a unit in the size and price I wanted. He was available the whole time i moved in for all my questions and needs. He made a potentially super stressful day a lot easier!

Jacob was incredibly helpful and so kind. I accidentally reserved a unit at a different location and he helped me get it all squared away. He deserves 5 stars for sure!
