I have been renting units on and off for as long as I’ve been in Drexel Hill. Always love the rates, location perfect for short time storage, convenient hours. The owners have worked with me the last 3 years I’ve been renting a unit. They are amazing people patient, kind, selfless, and very flexible with all of my billing issues.

There’s nothing really nice I can say about these people or the unit. Moved away for a year, half way through the year I got a notice my rate per month would be increasing by $10, which is all well & good, except when I came to my unit to move my things out, a lot of my belongings were soaked with water, smelly, some with mold due to the water, and dirty. When I brought it to their attention & told them I had insurance, I asked what company they had insurance through, they didn’t have that information for me. Then, after I terminated my contract weeks before the actual end date, I got charged. If you care about your things, I wouldn’t store it here. If you do, wrap it up in wild amounts of plastic.

Did not know this place was old movie theater when I arrived. Marc was very helpful and worked with me through the process. I needed to keep my items in storage for a month and the rates were very good. You get a free lock and the dollys on-site were helpful. God willing, I am never moving again, but if I need to store something, I'd use Axis Waverly.

I like this place better than public storage yet I feel they could do better. What I like most about this place is the history of the building and there are still reminders of the art deco movie theater which was once there. I rent a small unit on the 2nd floor. The floor bows and flexes as my wife and I walk on it. So I give the place 3 stars and 1 bonus star for keeping the history of the Waverly Theater alive.
