Forward Storage - Memphis (Phone Reservations Only)

I want to preface this by saying I have been a customer here since 2015 when it was Tennessee Storage. Forward Storage bought them and I had a decent experience up until the recent fire. Today I go to my unit to place items only to find someone else’s belongings in front of my door, the unit next to me open and they have an unauthorized hose run over into my unit, draining or venting god knows what into my unit. There is also evidence of someone coming in through the Sheetrock walls into my unit and using my property to get back into their unit. I suspect there is damage to my property from this. The new manger can’t seem to return a phone or text message, corporate makes promises they can’t and WONT deliver on and they break your lock and replace it with one of theirs so they have the combination and go in at any time. So for $235 a month I expect better, not to mention people are living and running businesses out of there…store at your own risk…and yes I am looking for another location to move my belongings to and I have emailed corporate

The staff at what used to be Tennessee Moving and Storage, now Forward Storage Memphis were great. They were always courteous and friendly, never had any problems with paying the rent. Sometimes we had access problems to our unit but that matter was solved and taken care of promptly. Thank you for the excellent service.

ZERO communication. Got broken into, no one told us, just put a new lock on it and we discovered it when we came to get something out. It caught FIRE, no one told us, found out when we came to get something out of it. Continued to charge us. Cut off our code to get into the units because we had to “back pay” when the unit was sold in March, again with ZERO communication. We paid it up to get in there just to find that even MORE was stolen!!!! And yet other peoples items were put in our unit!!!! The fence across from it is completely down. Yet again, no communication. This storage unit needs to be permanently closed.
