I do not want to hear anything about how Extra Space Storage “cares about safety” after my experience. I previously reported a man with a limp to staff at this location due to concerning behavior. After I moved out, that same individual recognized me on a public bus this past weekend and threatened to hit me with his cane. This is not speculation—this is direct, targeted behavior. I contacted Extra Space Storage management hoping they would assist or at least coordinate with law enforcement, since they had prior interactions with this individual and were aware of the situation. Instead, I was told that it was “no longer their problem.” That response is unacceptable. Crime and threats do not stop mattering just because they happen off your property. If proper steps had been taken earlier—such as documenting incidents or working with police—there would already be a record to help identify this individual and support my report. To be clear: I am not following this person I only encounter him occasionally on the bus, typically on weekends His behavior is specifically directed at me Staff at this location have already spoken to him multiple times At this point, I expect Extra Space Storage management to take responsibility for their prior knowledge and cooperate with law enforcement by providing any relevant information about this individual and prior incidents. Because of how this situation has been handled, I am leaving a one-star review. Safety should not be conditional based on location—it should be taken seriously at all times. However, due to the seriousness of what has occurred, I have decided that I intend to pursue legal action against this individual. At this time, I believe it is in my best interest not to discuss the matter further directly with your team. Instead, I am requesting that you coordinate with your staff at the location in question and work directly with the local police department to provide any relevant information, witness accounts, or records. I have also contacted the MTA regarding this matter. I strongly suggest that Extra Space Storage coordinate with MTA as well and confirm that this individual had previously been warned by staff at your location to stop this behavior. Any documentation, witness statements, or records showing that he was told to leave me alone should be shared with the appropriate authorities. Additionally, if you have identifying information on this individual—such as contact details or records tied to your facility—I ask that this information be provided directly to law enforcement or MTA as appropriate, so they can conduct a fair and independent investigation. This will help ensure that all parties can provide testimony without any perception of collusion and allow authorities to properly assess the situation. My goal is to ensure that this situation is handled fairly and independently. I want to avoid any perception of bias, collusion, or influence, and allow law enforcement to gather the facts from all parties involved. I would prefer that any further communication regarding this matter be handled through proper legal or law enforcement channels. If needed, I will follow up personally with the appropriate authorities. Thank you for your understanding.
I had one of the best customer service experiences I’ve had in a very long time, all thanks to this amazing woman. From the very first interaction, she was patient, respectful, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about helping me find the right storage solution. She didn’t rush me, didn’t talk over me, and made sure every single question I had was answered clearly. What could have been a stressful situation turned into a smooth, easy, and even pleasant process because of her professionalism and positive energy. She went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of, and you can tell she truly takes pride in what she does. That kind of service is rare these days — and it absolutely deserves recognition. Carol, this location’s Manager, is an absolute pleasure to work with at Extra Space Storage. She has always been available and accessible to answer questions and continues to be a great resource. The facility is extremely clean and organized. Parking is readily available. Carol returns calls quickly and always follows-up when needed. I highly recommend this location.
The store manager Carol was so helpful and got us moved into exactly the unit we needed, even helping us upgrade to a larger unit when we realized we needed to. I recommend her customer service to anybody in the Nashville/Bellevue area!
I’ve had a unit at extra space for over a year now, but my company has been using them for years now because they’re the best. The locations great and fair pricing. I’ve had other units in the past and I really like how they have options for indoor units which is great if you are storing anything that can’t get too hot! Overall what makes my experience here better than the rest is the store manager Carol. She is so helpful and great to work with. We get a ton of packages delivered that I can’t always meet the drivers for and Carol always lets me know and makes sure everything gets put safely in my unit.
