me and my Husband was looking for an RV space and saw this place at google, checked their Facebook and called them to inquire. Affordable price. Currently staying here since my husband works nearby.
This week a new manager arrived and has really been awesome! The reasons I chose to park my RV here and stay long-term are that it's $375/mo (definitely in my budget and included all utilities) & how close it is to HEB. My washer broke the other day and I had to use a laundromat and there is one just across the street, Town & Country laundry, super convenient. Everything at my site worked Easy to find and the roads are easy to navigate. Wifi worked good. Self-storage on site with discounts for guests :-) Security cameras on site. Quiet at night.
This place is a complete joke. I waited three weeks for management to fix a broken sewer ground pipe on my site (LOT 1). Every time I asked, I was fed some line about how a plumber was coming — but no one ever showed. Eventually, I had to fix THEIR plumbing issue myself just to have a usable site. And after doing their job for them, not once did the owners or management offer me a dime of compensation or even acknowledge the effort. To make things worse, when I decided to leave early, they refused to refund the remaining balance on my account. Their excuse? Supposed “trash left on the property.” That’s laughable — their own terms and conditions don’t even state that leaving trash behind means forfeiting a refund. It’s nothing more than a scam to pocket money that doesn’t belong to them. The truth is, this park is poorly managed, dishonest, and run by people who have no respect for their guests. If you’re looking for a place that actually values customers and keeps its word, look elsewhere. Don’t waste your time or money here. Once my $96.78 is refunded, I will gladly take this post down. RESPONSE. I want to clarify a few things since management’s response is not accurate. I paid for both my RV site and storage unit during my stay, and I also cancelled my storage unit and informed the prior park manager at the time. Trying to paint me as a “bad tenant” isn’t going to work. 1. I waited three weeks for a broken sewer ground pipe on my site to be repaired. Despite being told repeatedly that a plumber was coming, no one ever came. I ended up fixing the issue myself at my own expense, and there was no acknowledgment or compensation from management. 2. When I chose to leave early, I was told I would not receive a refund for the remaining balance on my account because of “trash left on the property.” However, their own rules and policies do not state that leaving trash forfeits a refund. That was the reason given to me directly. Also, let me be clear: leaving an honest review is not blackmail — it’s protected speech under the First Amendment. Accusing a customer of a crime simply for sharing their experience is both false and unacceptable and can lead to civil action for defamation. It’s unfortunate that an RV park that claims to be “committed to providing fair, affordable, and well-maintained accommodations for our guests, and the many positive reviews from long-term residents speak to that,” cannot and will not own up to their mistakes — such as repeatedly telling me a plumber was on the way to unclog the sewer line left behind by a prior resident and then the current resident which was ME having to remove a 3 foot long 2x4 stuffed into the sewer pipe full of feces and urine , or claiming unpaid balances just to make themselves look better in response to criticism. I’m glad to hear there is new management now, but this review is an honest reflection of my experience at the time. Future guests deserve to know how issues were handled so they can make an informed decision. And asking people to post positive reviews to cover up problems is not good business.
Quite park close to ferry. Cheap place to stay and avoid crowded port aransas side of things. There are storage units for rent too. We had a short stay due to work but would stay again. The manager was nice and she let us pick our site.
Been here for about 3 months, and it’s been great. I work close by, so I’ll probably be back next summer. Good rates, quiet place thumbs up!
