If I could give 0 stars I would. I had contacted Sparebox storage about an incident that happened with my unit. Upon opening our storage unit there was rat feces, rat urine, spiders nests, damaged wooden lamps and a dead snake inside. We filed a claim with the insurance company for the items inside. I then began going back in forth with the call center and asked if I could please speak to the supervisor to get the two months waived since finding out about the situation as I had not known how long my storage unit had been under that condition and then I would clean and remove my items from the storage completely. I do not live in the state of Texas and have been a customer for 2 years now. They kept telling me that someone would call me back and of course kept additionally adding more fees as I continued to try and get a hold of someone. They said some people may store food in their units and that could be why pests were in our unit. Respectfully that is not my fault I do not carry any food in my storage unit so I don’t see why I have to pay the consequences for their actions. This place just scams people and doesn’t take responsibility when something goes wrong. I would advise everyone to stay away from this storage unit completely unless you don’t care about the items you are storing.
