My experience with Public Storage had some frustrating parts, but also one really positive interaction with Vicki that helped. The biggest challenge is the loading situation. There is only one loading area and one elevator for the entire facility. When I arrived, there were multiple moving trucks lined up waiting, which can easily cost you extra time and money if you are using movers or just a lot of waiting if you are doing it yourself. Accessing the building can also be a hassle. I was later told that one of the elevators is currently down and they are waiting on parts to fix it, which explains some of the delays. The facility is very automated, which can be convenient, but also frustrating. There is rarely anyone on site even during posted hours, so most of the time you are left to figure things out on your own. I also had an issue trying to return the lock and get my refund, which turned into more of a process than it should have been. That said, Vicki from Public Storage reached out to me directly and was awesome. She took the time to clear everything up and helped get my lock refunded, which I really appreciated after not being able to get help through the regular customer service channels. I am still waiting to see if there is any flexibility on partially refunding the $29 admin since the overall process was more difficult than expected and I didn’t get any assistance from the facility until after the fact from Vicki. Overall, this location works, but there are definitely areas that could be improved, especially when it comes to access and having someone available to help when needed.

4 stars for the facility, 0 stars for the bait-and-switch $71 (non-promotional) monthly rental fee that just jumped up to $121 after 3-4 months. Pretty despicable business tactic if you ask me. Edit: Vicky contacted me to discuss the pricing change. Although Public Storage would not lower the rate, she did not need to take the time to advocate for me and I greatly appreciate that she did. Great customer service right there, and great communication. Keep it up, Vicky. Edited back down to 1 star for yet another surprise rate increase. Will be leaving and never looking back, these predatory business practices are unacceptable and unless WE stand up to them they will continue to take advantage of the customers. PUBLIC STORAGE IS A SCAM AND THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU.

Vickie is the best and goes above and beyond to make sure all of your needs are taken care of. Money was tight at the time when we needed additional storage. She created a feasible solution that allowed us to move into the larger unit the same day and pay the additional fee on our originally scheduled due date.
