I loved Towne Storage and chose to stay with them because when I asked about pricing (due to a bad experience at Extra Space) they were transparent and had only minimal increases over time. I was nervous when the location transitioned to Extra Space Storage due to the prior bad experience at another Extra Space location, where rent increased significantly without any notice and brushed off when I called. This reflects how Extra Space tends to operate as a company—rent increases are explained as “market value,” while new customers often receive much lower introductory rates. Over time, they tend to go higher than other storage units, this can feel like there’s little loyalty to long-term renters, which many others have shared as well. On a positive note: Neil alone is the reason I have stayed. He is honest, upfront, and took the time to explain that rates do increase over time while clearly communicating the value of Extra Space when I asked him directly about it, explaining my previous experience. Beyond that, he works hard to keep the premises clean, takes true responsibility for his role as a manager, and consistently goes above and beyond. His integrity and work ethic genuinely matter and I respect it. Neil would get 5 stars, the company 1 star... but thanks to his management and a long as he stays... there is a chance for a 3-4 star review.

I reserved a 10 x 20 space, and when we arrive, it was actually two 10 x 10 units. It would’ve been nice be notified of this upfront before we arrived. BUT, With that said, and while we don’t like surprises, it actually worked out to our benefit. We were actually able to separate household items from garage items in the two separate units. We love the fact that the gates are locked at 10 PM till 6 AM every night. Gives us extra confidence of Security. We love that our storage unit is indoors. Again that extra Security and better insulation Against summer and winter temperatures. Overall, we are very pleased. I’ll do an update review in four months to see how much they raise our rent ha ha

Great experience with Extra Space Storage. The facility was clean, secure, and easy to access. Neil was especially helpful… professional, friendly, and took the time to walk me through my options without any pressure. He made the whole process smooth and stress free. Highly recommend this location and working with Neil.

Another Extra Space plunder. I also left another Extra Space because they jacked up rents by huge amounts within 3 months. And here we go again. I rented at Towne about 8 months ago and wanted a yearly lease and offered to pay more for a fixed rate on a 10x10 unit. Towne said they didn’t offer yearly leases but would hold my rent the same for a year (at a much higher price). Worked for me. In comes ES and within 3 months jacked up the already high rent for a 10x10 to $144. Others around me have experienced the same sort of rental increases in all unit sizes. ES is, unquestionably, the highest price in town and you should run run run from this location and any other. I’ll be out, too.

We recently rented a storage unit from this location and I was completely blown away by how friendly, helpful, patient and knowledgeable Neil was. He made our moving experience so much more easier. Highly recommended.
