I didn’t know what to expect when I walked in, as I’ve not found storage facilities particularly helpful, reasonable priced, or friendly in many years of using different companies from NYC to Seattle. West Coast Self Storage, new to the neighborhood, is a notable exception so far - clean, well organized, reasonably priced (for Seattle), multiple space size options, and offering a small biz feel starting with their choice of facility manager, Blu. They are exceptionally professional, hospitable, precise re terms and process, takes pride in their work, feels trustworthy. We are glad we signed on. So long as the upcoming prospective price increase in Feb is not unreasonable, we’ll be seeking to continue patronage and may even seek a larger space. Thanks Blu and West Coast Self Storage - appreciate your work!

I never thought that I’d be writing a review for a storage facility. But I just have to say whoever decided to hire Blu needs to get a raise! And whatever you’re paying Blu double it!! From the moment we stepped through the doors, it did not feel like we were walking into a business, but into our friend’s home who invited us to stay and wanted us to feel comfortable. I can honestly say that I didn’t know what I was expecting. But I never expected to feel like I was just at a friend’s house. Blu was so accommodating. And really worked hard to make sure that I got as much space for my budget. Even though I ended up spending a little bit more than I wanted to. I felt good about doing so because I felt cared for.

Fantastic place! Blu and Charlotte were lovely and the set-up to get a unit was quick and easy. The process wasn’t soulless like so many major storage companies. The access hours are also better and the garage makes load-in easy. I’m so glad I switched to West Coast :)

Super affordable storage! They have carts and it feels secure with the gate and the codes you need to even use the elevator. Also Amy was super helpful when I couldn’t figure out my lock! Very convenient location near my apartment, too.

This was my first time using self storage, and Thomas made the whole experience super smooth and stress-free. He answered all my questions with patience and clarity, and even helped me out when I had to rush in at the last minute to take care of my stuff. I’ve heard some bad experiences about self storage in general, but I feel totally safe and confident knowing Thomas is running the place. He’s kind, honest, helpful, friendly, and really knows his stuff. Highly recommend if you’re thinking about self storage!
