Our brand-new storage facility is now open August 2020, we're located on S. Mullen Street near Center Street in the Oakland neighborhood of Tacoma, Washington. Were also easily accessed SR 16 and I-5. West Coast Self-Storage Fircrest features heated indoor storage units as well as drive-up storage units that come in a range of sizes. Whether youre storing household items, clothing, living room furniture, dressers, mattresses, or other things, there is a size that will fit your needs.
To ensure your belongings are protected, we have numerous security features including 24-hour recorded video of the building and premises, pin code access at all entry points, and cylinder locks on storage unit doors.

Good short term solution

Helpful staff. Easy code access. Facility access hours are good! 1/2 priced rent good for 2 months - prices after that are very high. Facility design challenges: 2nd floor entry is small and difficult to navigate with curbs & corners. Carts are awkward. Halls are narrow and make moving bigger items difficult. Had two units & was charged admin fee twice. Watch for hidden fees.

Customer Service with a smile.

This place was actually not my first choice, but closer to my price budget, and I am so glad it was because the girl who manages the place is EVERYTHING. You don’t often see people these days, bothering to be friendly or even very helpful, but Schyler was both. I was a bit distracted with some stuff going on and actually wound up asking some really stupid questions, but she was quick to give me all the answers and treat me with kindness, decency and respect. Plus, she was super nice and funny. As for the rest of the facility I don’t really have too much to say about locked boxes- since they basically are the same anywhere you go, but you can’t get great customer service like this everywhere.
