Was a great experience till the new owner took over and increased the rent 65% over about eighteen months. I was paying more than the advertised normal price on their site by this point. When I called, I was told this was due to annual corporate rent increases. I was also told I could "invest the sweat equity and move to a different unit" if I wanted their normal advertised price on their website. I chose to take their advice but not to move to a new unit within their company, but rather to move to a completely different company. Was great advice, I'm now saving $50 a month with the new unit, so I can thank them for that I guess.

Overall experience very good. Staff helpful and professional. Never had an issue getting through to someone. My only little feedback (and I do realize this is a storage unit and it is outdoors) would be that they spray for spiders from time to time. You can't prevent all of them, but my stuff had a lot of them, especially the stuff near the door. If you store here, also be sure to put your stuff on pallets if you can. So glad most of my stuff was off the floor as the couple furniture items that were too heavy for pallets had moisture and mold along the bottom. It cleaned off fine with a lysol wipe, but boxes and like a mattress or something would not have made it. Glad I was moving though and no longer needed the unit as the price got really ridiculous with the ownership switch.

We’ve rented a large storage unit on Woodale for our Packer bus for 10 plus years. Recently Bill Lutzke came and adjusted our overhead door. It’s never worked better. We’re very happy with the prompt service.

I found the price higher than most on the market. My mom had her units on Elizabeth street for a long time. She new Bill and the people in the office well and enjoyed her interactions with all. But with all things it was time to move on and sort her affairs at 89 yrs old. She is doing ok but getting around has become a struggle. Storing things no longer was a option. My only complaint would be higher prices and some problems with mice in her units. They can travel from unit to unit from the areas near the doors. So units need to be baited to control mice.
