Very difficult to communicate with. And no follow thru once you finally get hold of someone. They put a lock on my unit so I couldn’t access my stored car. They raised the monthly rate 40%. I can’t think of one thing to be complimentary about. I will move out next month never to return.
Great phone service. Very helpful. At least my rep was. Also very patient. But editing because this just now happened. He failed to warn me of this below.... Three months in they raised my rates by $50. Was told my price was good for a year. After a phone call they regretfully decreased my rates telling me it was mentioned in the contract I signed. Maybe so but that wasn't what I was told when I signed up. The girl on the phone even suggested I switch to another same size unit. Ummmm. What? Do all that work for only three more months pricing? They should send a specified text stating your rate will be increasing a month before and have you acknowledge the text message. Over all a nice clean and safe facility. The property manager cares about appearance.
Frustrated with New Ownership - No Access, No Communication, No Response I understand an acquisition has taken place, but the customer service since the ownership change has been extremely disappointing. Access Issues: I've made multiple trips to access my unit, only to find the gate code isn't working. I have two different codes on file, and neither one allows me entry. This is incredibly frustrating and wastes my time driving there. Rate Increase with No Explanation: My monthly rate jumped from $85 to $143—with no advance notice or justification while the same 10x10 unit is currently advertised on the website for $75. The lack of transparency is unacceptable. Zero Communication: I've called 2-3 times over the past 48 hours with NO return call or email. I was never informed about the ownership change. On one visit, I met someone who said he worked for the new owners and was also trying to fix the gate - he even offered to help me "jump the gate," which wouldn't have solved anything. Previous Experience: I was satisfied with KO Storage's response time and helpfulness when I had gate issues a few months ago. The contrast with the current ownership is stark. Bottom Line: I need reliable access to my belongings. It's too inconvenient to drive to my unit only to be locked out repeatedly. The combination of access problems, unexplained rate increases, and complete lack of customer service response makes this an absolutely terrible experience. I cannot recommend this facility under the current ownership until these fundamental issues are resolved.
Professional, courteous service. The rental procedure was quick and seamless. Great rates, too. Representatives were ready and eager to assist with any questions or concerns. The unit was clean, swept, and ready for me to move my things in. Would definitely recommend! When it came time to move out from the unit, representative Carlo was so helpful in providing yet another seamless experience. Carlo took the time to ensure that our experience was a good one. Thank you so much for taking such good care of our needs. Definitely recommend!!!!!
The worst storage unit…do not rent!!!! They put locks on all the units and you have to call them to get it off…no one answers and they just send you to voicemail. I’ve tried for a week to get into my unit and I haven’t been able to get in contact with anyone. This feels illegal. The phone number on their website is always unavailable as well. Moving out ASAP
