I had a terrible experience with Extra Space in New Berlin. Our storage unit completely flooded due to a faulty roof, and several other units were affected as well. The manager called to inform us there was a “puddle of water” outside our unit, but when we arrived, we found water throughout the unit and significant damage to our belongings. We gathered the waterlogged boxes, sealed them in a garbage bag, and placed the bag in an area of the facility marked “trash.” Shortly after, I received a call telling me that we were not allowed to leave trash there and that I had to take it home. I was also told the “trash” sign was left over from the building’s previous owner. Given the circumstances, the manager’s handling of the situation was dismissive and unhelpful, which only added to an already frustrating experience.

Andrew was Great! I called asking for some assistance in scheduling a move out date and some of the challenges I was faced with. He was able to make some allowances that provided me with the ability to solution the issues I was faced with. He went above and beyond by keeping me informed, and working with his upper management. Their facility is awesome, it's climate controlled, clean and well lit, I felt safe entering and exiting this facility at all times!! I highly recommend this facility and all the efforts Andrew made on my behalf, Thank you Andrew, I greatly appreciated all your help! RJM

Dan was extremely helpful and professional in setting up our storage. He even took videos of the area and space, which allowed us to see the space before we committed. This was especially helpful, as we are out of state. Dan made the entire process very easy.
