I wish I could give a Better update But instead as Self Storage as has advertised..You are on your own,No longer white wall and clean floors (false ads) its become dirty ,with mice on 3rd floor was told oh we are new ownership but Nothing is cleaned, changed hours and was told my locker had No lock on it but didnt know anything Really!!(with all those safety cameras) my locker had it 🔐 on it??!! disappointing.Now to insult to injury They Are Again raising Prices ..MORE for LeSs! looking for a clean safe storage place in sheboygan NOT Here.I had 2 ppl get lockers and Never got credit for them either.but now again I regret it.

Leasing a unit at Sheboygan Self Storage has been frustrating from start to finish. Their elevator has not been functioning multiple times, including when I moved in. The most recent being this past Memorial Day weekend when I got stuck in it. I needed to call 911 because there were no other tenants there. The 911 operator told me they have fielded multiple calls regarding their elevator. I have been trying to end my lease/close my unit since June. I had movers schedule in July, and the elevator was not working again, so I was unable to remove my property. The movers would have charged me an extra $150 per hour to use the stairs (my unit is on the third floor). I contacted Sheboygan Self Storage, and I was assured that I could leave items in the unit, it could be closed, they needed no more payments, no fees would be assessed, and my credit would not be damaged. I confirmed twice that I was understanding them correctly. I received emails confirming the closure. Since then, they have advised my unit cannot be closed/lease ended, I would need to continue to pay, fees will be assessed, and my credit may be affected.

This place is jank. The elevator is shoddy and freaky and there's apparently a guy living in one of the storage units. And it was not easy to navigate both inside and out or cancel our unit.

Do not store here! The freight elevator has been down for 4 weeks. Management cannot provide any date as to when repairs are to be completed. They claim there is no issue since "There is access to my 3rd floor units by the stairwell". Need to move out due planned move and they are unwilling to provide any assistance in getting items down the 3 flights of stairs or provide any $ reimbursement for the additional time it will take our movers to move out! There is no onsite management. The only contact is through a Non US call center. Once we do get our stuff out we're worried about what our clothes, upholstered furniture and mattresses will look like due to mouse infestation. And by the way rents increased September 1. ** Followed up with the service # below on 9/20 - absolutely zero help! No accomodations or consideration! 10/17/2023 - So happy to be out of this mice infested "Hole". Spent all week carrying my items down 3 flights of stairs due to the elevator being out of service for the last 3 months. The ownership believes a working elevator is optional in a 4 story storage facility as long as there is a stairwell. Absolutely "talk to the hand" when asking about an elevator update with their "Call Center" Today the icing on the cake was getting there with the movers, key code wouldn't work. Took an hour to get into the building wasting the time and paying for three movers. When we asked how they'd compensate us for all the uses, the answer was "oh, we don't do that". Can't emphasize how bad this place is, run the other way. It is a "Hole". See pics of the mice droppings...

Patricia Aguiran was absolutely wonderful in helping me set up a storage unit. Obviously doing things online or over the phone can be stressful but she made things very easy to understand. Very thorough in explaining everything I needed to know and prices were super reasonable!
