I started renting a space prior to Cube Smart buying them out. It's been a slow process, but the rates have tripled. Every couple of months they'll add another rate increase. I think I've actually been notified of two out of dozens. It's a great scheme because for most people this is not an easy move to make, so we just have to accept the charges. Plus, the increases aren't significant. They're just never ending and happen multiple times a year. There're have been zero changes to the building to justify the rates. The AC works, but it stays mid-high 80s inside. The second floor security camera was hanging off the wall for months. Now there are poison rat traps on the first floor. I'd only suggest this as a short term solution if nothing else is available or convenient.

I have had my things and other storage companies and from the moment I moved my things over I have had the best experience always from this company. Any company that gives the best service like her, its because they hire the best people. The entire experience with CubeSmart was very positive! Looking for storage units isn’t always the most exciting thing to do!! When my research led me to make a phone call, I spoke to a real human being! Tom was that only patient helpful but one of those positive and upbeat person I’ve met on the phone! He answered every question walk me through every single step and because of that, I was able to get my questions answered before I signed on the dot line! The online reservation and booking site was consumer friendly. I needed to change to a larger unit once I booked, and did that very easily at the office on site. The attendant, Christian , was very helpful. All in all, a smooth move in experience.
