I recently rented a 10x10 ground floor unit from here. I didnât realize it until after I had unloaded all of my stuff into my unit that the ceiling of my unit had no ceiling. It is completely open and not secure. There is a small storage unit located directly above my unit that allows full access to the above space over my storage unit. In fact, every 10x10 ground floor unit has the same defect, which is open for anyone using the facilities push ladder to remove items from the 10x10 ground floor units by just climbing on top of the smaller storage units and reaching into the ground floor units and taking whatever they want.Full Review
The storage itself looks fancy and fine. But the rules there are disgusting!! So when you sign the agreement, they put down that you can use either disc lock or cylinder lock. So the night when we moved in, I spent hours to find a disc lock around with my crying kids. Immediately, second day, the people working there told us, we have to use cylinder lock!!! Because the different site is using different rules!! Won't you think that they should put this down in the agreement? Or they just want to make more money by selling cylinder locks? And if you don't put cylinder lock on, they will keep calling you and texting you when you at work!! When I argued with them according to the agreement I signed, they just said "I don't make the rules". This is the first time and will be the last time that I have business with them!!Full Review

Staff is generally pretty nice. Prices are ok. On 2 occasions I had to take the steps to the 3rd floor because the elevator was broken. Another 2 tenants and I discovered that if we walk up to the 3rd floor and press the button the elevator will come up. It was a mess!! At some point the location started to have work done on the ceilings. All of by belongings were covered with white dust powder!Full Review

Limited hours: 8:00am to 6:00pm - they will literally lock you in if you are 1 minute over, and threaten you, even though there is someone who lives there on site.
All bathrooms are locked; you have to go to the front office if you are working in your storage and need to go.
They raise your price without warning, claiming "market price" but when the market price goes down they will not lower it. So the longer you stay the more you pay. Wouldn't you think that loyal customers should get a break?Full Review

The person in the front desk was very accommodating and showed us the 10 x 10 we wanted, but was too big and was kind enough to recommend other available options. She answered all of our questions and we managed to store our items that very same day after we chose a 5x15 instead. â ï¸ DON'T MAKE MY MISTAKE: prices were good, but the ceilings are literal chicken wire, thieves pry it up, and Public Storage knows but doesn't care. ð
We rented a large unit for 2021 and moved in many of our belongings. In August, we got a call that our mattress was in the hall and our unit's door was open: there'd been a break-in. Dresses and undergarments were ripped out of suitcases and thrown all over the floor, purses and IDs were rifled through, and the thieves stole laptops, a desktop, and a bike.
The police immediately found the entrance: The chicken wire ceiling had been yanked up. It's apparently common for thieves to break in from above, permanently disable the door's cylinder lock from behind, and exit through the door.
â¡ï¸ The really sad part: This isn't new. ð¤ Public Storage's manager said this is the #1 cause of break-ins at the facility. There's no camera coverage and zero other ceiling protection: Literally anyone with a stepladder can start crawling over your unit. ð³ð³
Naturally, Public Storage has no accountability for their building's top method of theft. You'd think they would close the Large Open Holes above units the first time a theft occurred. ð¤ Instead, they know about the obvious liability, haven't made any attempt to fix it, and don't take any responsibility when it's exploited.
Don't make my mistake... go to another facility that will learn from times it missed the mark.Full Review
