I rented a unit for a few months and the unit itself and facility were fine. Customer service, however, was seriously deficient. Specifically, the treatment I received by Jihan Pope or Poe, who self-identifies as "Management" was more disrespectful and negative than any other experience I have had in recent history. I am very happy with choosing this place to store my belongings. Marvin was very helpful in showing me the unit in which I was interested. As I have trouble walking, he took me around in a golf cart. While this was not a factor in choosing to rent there, he was courteous and friendly. I was also surprised with the lock which fits into the role up door -- an added feature which enhances the security. I would recommend this storage facility to anyone who wants a secured place to store their belongings.Full Review

I had just moved back to Georgia and was staying with a good friend of mine. I was driving around with all of our things in the car (which I really didn't want to do). I got up the next morning and was searching online for the closest storage near my friend. Another friend of mine said I should leave it at a mutual friend of ours so I do not have to pay for storage. I told him 'no' getting a storage would be better because I wouldn't have to wait on them to come home while I'm out getting some things done and I didn't feel comfortable leaving my things unattended at anyone's house. Plus, if my things are in a storage I can come and go as I need to especially when I need to get something. The next morning is when I searched online and found Midgard Self Storage in Fayetteville for a great price and a great offer for the storage size that I needed. It was the perfect timing. Eventhough, I wish my unit was on the 1st floor. Everything still fell right in place.Full Review

I found this facility via SelfStorage.com where it was listed as $25/month for a 5x10 unit. Turns out that is only for the first 3 months and then the rate goes up. By the time I found that out, I already had the move lined up. But that was the only negative and it doesn't sound like it was the facility's issue but the marketing on the website.
Krystina, the property manager, was sympathetic about the rate issue and more than helpful about everything - it was such a nice change in a stressful situation. And the property was clean and convenient - the "second floor" units have no stairs b/c of an elevated access road which made moving much easier. And the police dept is right next door which gives an extra sense of security.
