We got the unit, and when we opened it, there where bottles of water and our lock. We were pleased at how that added extra touch of the water just gave it that extra personal touch. This is what you call your "Common" CON ARTIST! They are ever so pleasant when you check in- and there move in/ first few months specials are great... BUT WAIT- once your hit with their HUGE jump in price- so you suck it up and then go to move out- WATCH THE 10 DAY TERMINATION rule!!! They will get you- so you pay with your card- they had our notice we were 5 days shy of the 10 day rule- ok I get it so PRORATE the price- BUT NOPE they charged us a FULL MONTHS RENT- caused havoc on our account- They TOLD us when we handed in our termination notice that we were to take off our locks- BUT we still had 5 of the 10 days paid for- and here is the kicker- they will HOLD YOUR REFUND HOSTAGE something they could fix so easily they make so hard- we were told we would receive a PAPER check in the MAIL in 10-14 BUISNESS DAYS that means they would hold our money for almost a month!!!! BULL CRAP these people are CROOKS!!! BEWARE !!!!!Full Review

The staff was very accommodating with great communication. They event lent me a temporary padlock because I forgot mine even though there were locks to purchase on-site. There are only two minor complaints. One being that the unit was not swept out. The other being there was no security key pad to get into the unit. I was overcharged for padlocks (have to purchase from them in order to receive discount). Apparently it was not possible to simply refund my credit card. A check needed to be issued for the refund. I was told check was ready and I could stop by and pick it up. I show up up to get my refund....No check. I contact manager again. I'm told check is there again. Show up...no check. This happens THREE times. Repeated emails, texts, still have not received a refund that was now supposed to be mailed. AVOID THIS PLACE. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!Full Review

Their office says that all areas are under surveillance. Not true. I know this because when my garage door wouldn't open, I needed to move to a larger, more expensive unit. This meant I'd need a few days to get help to move our belongings. The staff told another perspective client that whatever is left in the facility, they can take. It was 4 days between getting all of my property moved into the larger unit. I had about $4,000 of my stuff stolen, even took photos of my stuff in the other guy's garage. Gopher storage did nothing and further, when the police asked to see the surveillance tapes, they were told they only have cameras at the office and one of the driveways. Insurance they require I purchase didn't cover it and they did nothing. I don't typically react this way, but I am appalled at the pathetic customer service. RUN - go anywhere but here!!!!!!!!Full Review
